Swiggy has launched a new AI-powered app, Pyng, aimed at helping urban professionals connect with trusted service providers across 100+ categories. Currently live in Bengaluru on Android and iOS, Pyng uses conversational AI to match users with verified experts in wellness, finance, education, events, and more. The platform is onboarding over 10,000 professionals, including fitness trainers, therapists, tax planners, makeup artists, and career coaches. To build user trust, Pyng offers a money-back guarantee if customers don’t find value in the services booked. This initiative marks Swiggy’s expansion beyond food delivery and its entry into the professional services space. Swiggy Co-founder Nandan Reddy stated that Pyng is designed as a reliable, spam-free platform to address consumers’ evolving needs and empower service providers. The launch is part of Swiggy’s broader strategy to spin off key offerings into standalone apps, moving away from the unified model. Other apps in the pipeline include Instamart for grocery delivery and Snacc for 15-minute food delivery, currently being piloted in Bengaluru. Pyng’s launch also reflects a trend in the Indian tech space, aligning with Zomato’s unbundled app strategy through services like Blinkit and Zomato District.
