Lodha (Macrotech) Buys ₹24,000 Cr Land in MMR, Pune, Bengaluru
Macrotech Developers, known for its Lodha brand, acquired 10 land parcels in FY25 across Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, and Bengaluru to develop housing projects worth nearly Rs 24,000 crore. This surpasses the company’s initial FY25 guidance of Rs 21,000 crore in gross development value (GDV). The acquisitions include two new parcels in Pune valued at Rs 4,300 crore in GDV. The company follows a strategy of outright land purchases and joint development with landowners to drive growth. In Q4 alone, bookings rose 14% year-on-year to Rs 4,810 crore. A key player in India's real estate sector, Macrotech has a strong presence in the residential markets of MMR, Pune, and Bengaluru. It is also active in developing industrial parks, office spaces, and retail real estate. The company, led by Abhishek Lodha, is currently in a legal dispute with his brother’s firm, House of Abhinandan Lodha, over the 'Lodha' brand name.
